Glock 17 80% Build - Complete Parts Kit

Don't you have to register any pistol built in California??? I believe last time I emailed DOJ about a pistol 80% build they were pretty firm on ANY pistol built would need a serial number and need to be registered. I also have the email from them on who can actually touch/ work on one(gunsmith level7 and up) if there's issues with firing. I'm with Germs1 and buy part as from glock to avoid issues on fitting and cycling...
There are Federal and CA laws that require firearms to be properly marked/engraved prior to being transferred (sold/gifted/loaned/etc).
Handguns built in CA need to be made so that it complies CA unsafe handgun laws, CA assault weapons laws, CA prohibited weapons laws, and Federal NFA laws.
Therefore, a pistol made in CA needs to be done via two methods...
1. As a dimenisonally compliant (minimum 6" barrel length + minimum 10.5" overall length) bolt-action single-shot pistol or as a dimensionally compliant break-top/open single-shot pistol.
2. As a semi-auto pistol with a chamber load indicator, magazine disconnect mechanism, microstamping array, and must pass CA DOJ safety testing.Last edited by Quiet; 02-25-2016, 5:31 PM.sigpic

^ had to ask DOJ since cycling issues with .308 lower and I couldn't figure it out so had get a letter from DOJ before ANY gunsmith would touch it. Long story short I also asked about rules on 1911's and pistols while I had him on phone and emailing me.Comment

Why the hell would you ask them about "rules"? The only thing your questions to them will accomplish is to put homebuilds higher on their radar and provoke them to making a bunch of "rules" that have nothing to do with actual laws on the books.NRA Certified Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun and Metallic Cartridge Reloading Instructor

No mention on an L on the site. Weird they don't show any piks of the lower components.
We've all seen Slides and triggers. I wanna see the 4 lower contact points
Those other Glockparts links are missing the block and some pins also

Hello
Parts are genuine glock 17, 22 and 34 gen 3 - 3pin kits. I believe it's 5.5 lb trigger from the factory.
These parts will drop in after you complete your frame, or would drop in to a standard glock frame.
Hope this answers your questions.
Thanks

2 isn't an option. Is 1? If no, the thread I pasted up above basically says to make a mech tech carbine or assemble in NV and disassemble before coming back in to CA. Correct me if I'm wrong.Comment
