Well that's your first problem...you asked the DOJ for legal advice.

None of my AR pistols are registered or serialized.

There are no Federal or CA laws that require a firearm built for personal use needs to be engraved/marked and registered.

There are Federal and CA laws that require firearms to be properly marked/engraved prior to being transferred (sold/gifted/loaned/etc).

Handguns built in CA need to be made so that it complies CA unsafe handgun laws, CA assault weapons laws, CA prohibited weapons laws, and Federal NFA laws.
Therefore, a pistol made in CA needs to be done via two methods...
      1. As a dimenisonally compliant (minimum 6" barrel length + minimum 10.5" overall length) bolt-action single-shot pistol or as a dimensionally compliant break-top/open single-shot pistol.
      2. As a semi-auto pistol with a chamber load indicator, magazine disconnect mechanism, microstamping array, and must pass CA DOJ safety testing.

^ had to ask DOJ since cycling issues with .308 lower and I couldn't figure it out so had get a letter from DOJ before ANY gunsmith would touch it. Long story short I also asked about rules on 1911's and pistols while I had him on phone and emailing me.

Why would you ask DOJ instead of just simply reading and understanding the law? There is ZERO legal requirement to register any non AW handgun except at time of transferring ownership. There are millions of commercially produced and unserialized firearms out there. Competent gunsmiths and other FFL holders know this and know how to log them in. There is no such thing as a "level 7" FFL. There are no "levels" at all. There are different types of FFLs but, a type 10 FFL is not "above" a type 07 FFL. Why would you llisten to some moron at CALIFORNIA DOJ who is trying to give you legal advice regarding FEDERAL laws? I suggest contacting an attorney who specializes in CA and Federal firearms laws instead of wasting your time talking to some flunky at DOJ who's job is to answer the phone.

Why the hell would you ask them about "rules"? The only thing your questions to them will accomplish is to put homebuilds higher on their radar and provoke them to making a bunch of "rules" that have nothing to do with actual laws on the books.

We've all seen Slides and triggers. I wanna see the 4 lower contact points

Those other Glockparts links are missing the block and some pins also
34 is NOT the same as 17L. That's why I ask. OP said that there was a 17L available, and I do not see it.

                Hello

                Parts are genuine glock 17, 22 and 34 gen 3 - 3pin kits. I believe it's 5.5 lb trigger from the factory.

These parts will drop in after you complete your frame, or would drop in to a standard glock frame.

                Hope this answers your questions.

                Thanks
                Jordan
So is there a 17L I'm not seeing?

2 isn't an option. Is 1? If no, the thread I pasted up above basically says to make a mech tech carbine or assemble in NV and disassemble before coming back in to CA. Correct me if I'm wrong.

No all Glock frames are serialized and that is what is considered as the gun. The slides and barrels do have the same number but they are not for registration.

The Glock sitting right next to me has the serial number on the Frame, slide and barrel.

Barrels have the serial number on em, usually near the top of the chamber
