Base price for a 2.5 Python in great condition is minimum $2,500. I would put it up for $2,750 firm if wanting to sell fast. 3K if you want to wait for the right buyerComment

From the pictures it appears to have "bright" stainless finish. However you mentioned a stainless finish which is like a brushed finish. If it did leave the factory with a stainless finish and someone shined it up, that could have diminished the value of the gun to a collector . If so one just wants a shiny 2.5 Python then the prices here are in the ballpark. If it were indeed a BSTL the value could be much higher. If you want to know how it left the Colt factory, you should request an archive letter which may prove the BSTL finish and the higher value.Comment
