I've got one on the way. I know what cost is on a new one from RSR. it's above the 3k now. Im scared to know what it's going to cost from springfield direct. I also hope mine comes with the CRG marking. 😕

If you ordered yours directly from Springfield it'll definitely have the CRG number and will cost the MSRP, which is something like $2,600.

The pistol will have CRG prefix and necessary fitted parts will have the serial number dremeled directly onto them. You will get the CEA and the swag.

Your price will be $2600 plus $500 (guessing here) if you order from Deb or Amanda, directly. Then you will pay shipping and insurance. When it reaches the PRK - you will pay your dealer's fee, Tax (to help pay for the programs here), dros and wait the 10 requisite days. This is of course after waiting 18 to 30 months for delivery ... that's not kidding.

If you ordered A Professional Directly from sacs before the price change but wont get it until way after, I wonder what I will be paying?

I can get one for 3000 plus sales tax and fees. That will bring it to about 3400.
I thought that was too much for that gun. The way the prices are going, maybe
                  I should buy it.

if it helps, I paid $2465.25, 2699.05 OTD Jan '09 when I ordered it but had to add $37.05 in May '10 at pickup time because the tax rate went up

$500 reasonable inflation for seven years?

and remember, the price is very unlikely to ever drop

I actually just spoke to Deb from SACS couple weeks ago. The new pricing for the PRO is $3350 .

Ouch that's quite a price increase. Still, not an unfair price compared to the rest of the high end 1911 market.

Yup, pretty steep but that means the value of my rail just went up
