Well, clean it again, very very very well. But first, throw that froglube in the trash.

                And congrats!

Nice choice on a first handgun, easily one of the best values in 9mm. Put a few hundred rounds through it and have some fun. Do you have any training in stance, grip, sight alignment / sight picture, trigger squeeze etc? Getting the fundamentals down early on will help you advance quickly without learning bad behavior. It took me a long time to unlearn tilting my head in to the sight picture because I learned it early and imprinted it in to my muscle memory deeply. Every once in a while it still creeps out.

A G17 is the best pistol around. Put on a quality set of sights (no 3 dots, no TFO/TFX no XS Big Dots) and you're good to go.
Not to thread jack and derail the OP, but what sights would you suggest? Feel free to pm if you want but I honestly value your opinion on this. I've got a new RTF 2 I just picked up.

                              Congrats,
Yes fun pistol. Now, lets see. There is the extended mag release. Then the trigger 3.5 and spring set. And yes sights too. I am on the fence about which sites to get as well. i am leaning towards nightsights tho.
