So, if you run a red light no law has been broken if no one in LE sees you?
    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Guys I buy all my guns to keep. I don't ever buy guns with the intention of selling them. Let's get off this straw purchase deal. I want to buy these guns because after moving back I won't have the opportunity.

My Glock G26 is reliable and accurate.
What is your beef with the G26? ...

It's very hard to help you on this. There's far too much to choose from and we all have our favorites. Me, I'd look real hard at a Wilson Combat 1911...but that would probably blow your whole budget right there.

But with that said, I wouldn't hesitate to buy as much as I possibly could (smartly of course) because if money becomes tight, you won't have any problem selling it.

A P320 makes a lot of sense, since you can buy caliber change and size change kits for a single "gun."

Not sure a Glock 17 makes since unless you have standard capacity mags and/or very large hands.

VP9 (or PPQ) seems like a good choice.

If you're interested in carry, also look at the Glock 43, PPS, XD-S, and LCP9s.

If I could have any off-roster, it would be the Glock 43.

I actually did by a Wilson Combat Ken Hackathorn from Scheels and took it back. I had always wanted a Wilson bought it took it home and just was not excited about it. Luckily, I bought it from a big box store and they actually took it back.

Sig Legion, VP9, p320 and ppq. Buy as many as you can and turn them for a reasonable price to help out your Kalifornia gun owners stuck behind enemy lines.

buy a few to find out what you like and keep the ones that fit you well. You can always sell the ones you dont like later on.

Start your own gun store. Then you can have whatever you want. If I ever get out of CA, I will never look back.

Family comes first. It doesn't mean that I'll live in CA for the rest of my life.

^ Well, that makes it pretty easy...

Simple: Research and test multiple handguns to find out which fit you the best, which you shoot the best, and which you like the best.

E.g., you can go down right now to your LGS / range and try out a bunch of guns (Glock Gen4's, Glock 43's, CZ Shadows, etc., etc., etc.) that most of us can only dream about.

Why ask a bunch of CA folks what guns you should buy, when most of us have zero experience with them, and zero ability to go shoot and test them like you could be doing right now?
Stupid analogy, but isn't that somewhat akin to asking a Syrian refugee what brand of designer bottled water you should buy?

Get off your *** before you move here, go test several yourself, and buy the ones you like the best! We dream about being able to do what you can do right now... or anytime you feel like it!

Why don't you invite your family to move and come shoot with you in a free state?
