The trigger weight of a Glock (except the pocket size) is a lot lighter than the trigger weight of a Shield. It should be around 5.5 to 6.5 pounds. You will get used to it with dry fire practice. You can also do a $.25 trigger job and change the OEM connector to (-) connector to reduce the trigger weight a bit.

Glocks have a damn good trigger reset imo too. I put a 3.5 trigger connector on mine and i dont think it even needed it lol.

        Glock grip angle

I am baffled. Going to go to the range again next week and shoot some more Glocks with friends. They have everything ranging from the 26 to 17 and some .40, maybe the 23, can't remember. I want to figure this out.

If you can shoot a Shield accurately, you can do the same with a Glock. Just have fun OP

Point your finger and place a Glock in your hand; the grip angle matches.

You guys are missing something simpler and more basic... The grip angle is determined by the design of the magazines, the feeding angle of the rounds from the magazine and its relationship to the barrel and slide. They designed the gun for reliability (and succeeded) and ergos came after. You can trim and modify the grip to some extent I think but Glock will never change the grip angle and then force themselves to manufacture a different magazine to match.

Btw the Glock grip angle works quite well if you shoot thumbs forward two handed grip.mwith one hand ..not as good (for me)

When I had my Ruger MKIII, it had a very similar angle to my Glock. Also the old Luger.

The Browning is a Buckmark with a red dot on it and I can hit Coke can sized plates at 50 yds. Frighteningly accurate. I get behind a Glock and man, horrible.

You just need to get used to the trigger then

It all depends on the individual. That's why most of the new poly guns have interchangeable back straps, even the Glock. My 1911's have to have arched mainspring housings to point naturally for me.

I'm not a fan of the Glock grip angle, but it seems to "straighten out" when fully extended. Bringing things "closer" it seems to aim high. At least for me. It is kind of weird even after spending some time behind one since the beginning (first gun I shot), but everyone's different.

1911s are the most natural pointing handgun for me, but M&Ps point pretty naturally as well.
