Employ your local gunsmith have him dovetail a slot to fit one of these.

Yea I was thinking the same thing. Since its dovetail would that work on a P01 type as well? He was looking at the 75B, Sp01, and P01.

Here is a quick video I made especially for the OP's coworker.

Hopefully it will save him some money.

Yes, the gun was cleared beforehand ...

thanks bro.. i'll have to show that to my coworker. i have no problem racking the slide using the over the top method since one other member showed me a youtube vid. hopefully this will help my coworker out.. i told him to just keep going to reed to play with it.. or just buy one.

Needs to grow some calluses on his hands. He should do exercises for improved grip.

i remember seeing a CZ slide racker like this.. but i think it's only for the TS. not sure if it will work with the 75B he's looking to get.

anyone know if alternatives mounts that he can use to help rack the slide?
I have that exact slide racker but never used it. You would have to have the LPA dovetail on the slide to use it.

I was showing a friend that's interested in getting a gun and I showed him my G23 & 27. As he was handling them he was intimidated handling them for he couldn't do the simple clearing a gun procedure I showed him. He's an office worker and very good with computers. I assured him he will get better once he starts shooting and getting acquainted with the gun he buys. So far I haven't heard from him on which gun he'll get. He may just get a pump shotgun since he did well handling that.

Go to reeds to keep playing with it?

Tell him to buy the damn thing and stop wasting money on their **** courses. A 3 day pistol course should cost more than 160$. Sounds like they are just teaching him bad habits he'll have to unlearn later.

                    1) buy gun
                    2) sit in living room, racking for 30 mins while watching TV

yea he tried the Glock and the sweaty palm thing he couldn't get a good grip on it. he's gonna try the sandpaper route first and see.

i agree on the course.. i think it's a waste. i didn't take any course.. just learn all from CGer and youtube.

yea i should encourage him to just buy it.. and if he can't rack the CZ.. i'll take it off his hands.. wahahahha

Tell him to buy a Beretta 84-85 or a Sig P232 and when he can pull the slide on them two Pistols he is ready! Other wise go with my first suggestion, Talcum Powder.

                            This is good advice.

Racking the slide of a bone stock browning high power could work for him as well.

But seriously though, if someone racks a CZ slide like I displayed in the video, they will notice that method works even if you covered your hands in soapy water. I find the regular overhand grip to be much more difficult to do.
