Man I waited 18 freaking months for my special order on my PRO. I love it.

That being said, If you want one plop down the 2-3k and wait a year and a half. Its worth it.

That being said I like my wilson cqb elite SS better

welcome to the expensive world of 1911's. Good thing they take forever to fulfill the orders, Id be broke lolz

Exactly, so enough with the semantics....lets see some SACS work on a Mil Spec:

That's what I'm talking about Beautifully executed Keen! Soap bar bevel? What finish? Nubbed slide stop, Novak Rear, gold bead front, flush cut, reverse crown, blended magwell, flat trigger. Love the front strap and all black finish. When I customize a Mil Spec, I think it will look like yours, minus the lanyard loop Mind telling us what it set you back?

Sacs hit it out of the park with that one , reminds me of Rodgers precision work.

The finish in ION Bond (Complete).

Belive it or not I did not spec and order the Gun but bought off a fellow Calgunner who had it built. The parts are all top quality from companies like Nowlin, EGW and Wilson...all sent in with the gun then built by SACS. All the interals where upgraded as well.

The cost of just the SACS work and finish was just under $3k...add the cost of the base gun and the parts to get to the full $ amount.

Great Gun and look...alas I sold it to fund other projects about 2 years ago.

A Rogers gun inspired this build according to the person who had it built.

Last time I checked, Chuck has so much work lined up, that when the day comes for his retirement or death, he'll still have 4 years of work to do!

What is a concern is that getting the most from a mil-spec build and seeing the 3K mark. Might as well get the SA pro or wilson cqb, right?

If you know what you want an are looking for exact options there in no subsitute for a full custom build. Picking every part and detail, discussing it with the builder, waiting 2 to 5 years...(jk)

It's not a dollars and cents thing, that is for sure.
