CZ's are well known through out the US and people are buying them. Outside the US, they are more popular than Glocks in some countries. You'll find CZ-75s in every country that allows civilian ownership of handguns.

OP, you should have bought a CZ in the early 1990s. I remember coming home from Desert Storm and some "expert" at SF Gun Exchange panning the CZ as a piece of Eastern European junk. Then there were the guys in Traders who knew almost nothing about the gun, but had negative opinions. You could have bought a CZ-75 for under $300 out the door.

My first non-.22LR handgun was a CZ75b. I bought it back then (circa 2000-2001) largely because it was cheaper than similar offerings from Beretta (which was the gun I really coveted back then), Sig-Sauer, and even Glock. The store manager even pooh-poohed them, I think mainly because of the price.

Should've kept the ones I had, sold them off some time ago.

Oh well - there's always time to rectify that

Mine cracked during installation. The inside cut was a bit off and they cracked near the safety when I turned the screw down.

I emailed the seller and he refunded my money.

I have VZ and original grips on my CZ's. I always go back to original rubber cz grips. Best feeling grips hands down. Jmo

Pau Ferro checkered Hogue's on an SP01. Makes the glorious grip of the sp01 even better IMO. Doesn't look too shabby either.
