Changed out mine before I even shot it. Never looked back. I like my 1911s to break down the same way.

I also got rid of the ILS MSH and installed an Ed Brown Maxi-well. Added some VZ Operator IIs too.

I have had mine since the late 90s, great gun. Never had a FTF or FTE with it, about 10k rounds through it and still going strong. A solid investment.
