Congratulations. I picked mine up last week.
Here's my first groups. Strangely enough I shot better with the smaller 7 round magazine with my pinky curled under the mag than I did with the 8 round mag with all fingers on the grip. The other holes on the left are from the SW22A rimfire.

If you're considering a shield and are picky about triggers, you should know it has a pretty firm break, 5+ lbs I think.
Mine has just over 1k rounds and the trigger is maybe a little lighter. But it's not a target pistol it's defensive yada yada deliberate force.
Great gun, zero problems (aside from the LCI).

I am going to have to disagree with this statement, i have a shield a fullsize and the 9c in 9mm, and i feel i shoot my 9c the best out of all of them, when i shoot my shield i feel more strain on my hand which i have found to normal for the sub compact pistols i have fired in my life.

Again my opinion i feel the recoil is easier than the shield, but thats just me

The Shield in 9mm is an amazing CC gun and very east to conceal with just a t-shirt on. My current favorite carry gun.

My wife has the Shield in 9mm. Only thing I hate is the slide stop/release is waay to stiff.

After 300-400 rounds that goes away.

It's a great gun for CCW and makes it's way into my carry rotation.

Hated mine at first because I kept shooting low and left but after I did the Apex sear mod I can safely say I've improved 100%

N28 or N82? If its n82 I have literally the exact same set up. Talons and the N8 holster is insanely comfortable. Very accurate gun as well. Good job OP!

It is a slide stop and not a slide release although a lot of people try to use it that way. I did for 2-1/2 years on my M&P full size until it snapped off. It was replaced for free under warranty but I learned then that you were supposed to use the slingshot method to close the slide. I now do that all the time the Full Size and with the Shield. It's much easier to do this than use the slide stop.

Another trick it to put upward pressure on the slide stop, then rack the slide back quickly in order to lock it back. Trying to do this slowly with a new stiff spring is not easy.

Hey question for you sheild owners is the cali compliant model worth it? Do you still enjoy it with the mag disconnect and the loaded chamber indicator? Are they worth the 419 new i see them for?

Concealedkalifornia I scored this for 350 plus dros. I say scored because most that I have seen via ppt all were 450 to 600 hundred.

I'd say the shield is one of those guns that actually lived up to the hype surrounding its release.
