The disconnect and LCI are ROSTER requirements. After it is your own personal property you can do what you want. Short of installing a 16" or longer barrel or fitting a buttstock.

Lol. I saw a broom handle at the LGD here, with a stock attached for sale.. I thought it looked awfully "illegal"?

But can it be used against you as an alteration that makes it "more lethal"? lol

No one knows the answer to those kinds of questions. A lawyer/DA "could" make a big deal out of it if they wanted to or they "could" decide it's irrelevant. There are a million opinions about what lawyers might do and it's pretty much all guessing.

I will still buy the apex trigger probably as the stock one isn't bad, but seems a little heavy to me. Anyone considering one should defiantly bite the bullet.

Ha first thing I did was remove the disconnect also lol. I also scraped off the red paint on the LCI so its an all black sharkfin now. That LCI is the main reason I haven't but a set of big dots on it because it looks like it will obstruct the sight picture. Good purchase you will love it. I actually like the stock trigger
