We want to remind gun users that, for maximum safety when carrying any pistol with a loaded magazine in place, the chamber should be empty, and the slide should be closed. Any gun may fire if dropped or struck.
That makes a lot of sense for what's billed as a carry gun.

Thanks for the link and info...I really dont want to send my LCP away for an undetermined amount of time, but a free mag will be cool.

Seems Ruger has been recalling a lot of their new auto designs lately...

with a new "finger grip extension" do you think that you may have difficulty inserting and extracting the magazines?

Wow...two new guns released in the past year and both have been recalled. Scary.

What was wrong with your P95?

Is any one really surprised that a cheap pocket gun has design/safety flaws? Any body remember the Lorcins and Ravens? The only reason there was such a commotion over the LCP was because it was cheap and tiny.

Just got mine back today...It was gone for seven days. Would have been six if I didn't miss UPS. It came with the free mag, a free hat and an upgrade to the slide stop. I'm pleased not only with the LCP, but with the customer service.

Morales, every gun has its purpose. It is tiny but it packs a punch for its size and is a great back-up pistol.
