    Head shots stop them.

You can shoot them in the body- pellet enter and exit and they will run off

At least that’s my experience with .177 springers, 5mm blue streak and cb caps in a 22 bolt
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT

Any pellet gun in .177 or larger will do the trick. Get one with a sound attenuating barrel if noise is going to be a problem. A .22 is generally more quiet than a .177.

At your price point, I would choose any of many Nitro Piston break barrels in .22.

Most come with really crappy scopes. So either use your iron sights if it has them, or you may want to budget for a better scope.

+1 Nitro Pistol break barrel in .22. A friend has the .177 and his neighbors complain it's too loud.

Checked into this last year found some interesting stuff. See link for all kinds of info."Fox squirrels that are found to be injuring growing crops or other property may be taken at any time or in any manner in accordance with the California Fish and Wildlife Code and Regulations (henceforth called “the Code”). Only eastern fox squirrels can be killed without a hunting license or permit."

Wow, didnt know they ate their own. I shot one and left it out for the Crows or Coyotes to eat. Later I noticed another Squirrel trying to pull the dead one under the firewood shed where they live (lived) I always thought it was trying to help it not eat it. Learn something everyday..thanks

And the vid above shows another reason why the nasty fawks should be kilt.

If they are ground squirrels trap them. They are fun to shoot but you will never get them under control. My best day was 13 in one trap

That works great, but you still need to shoot them.

just don't be a douche and shoot towards any neighbor houses like someone around my area did... with a damn slingshot.

broke one of my living room window cause that mofo couldn't aim for shiz trying to hit a squirrel running along the telephone/cable lines.

my mom was in the backyard too just 3 feet away from the window. if she had stepped in the path it would have hit her on the head.

i was ready to molotov their house down for doing that.
