Mine came in today as well. 1 week and 2 days since approval e-mail.

That's good to hear. When I called, I asked if my finger prints were accepted or rejected. She just said that I will be approved by the next day.

I was surprised to receive an email asking for additional documents, instead.

I already have my CA CCW, so can't see any other issues coming up after being told I "would be approved".

Can I ask what sort of "additional documents"? No need to be specific, I'm just curious in general about what sort of things they would ask for besides prints.

I'm still waiting on the mail. But I now remember the ATF asking for the same thing when I got my FFL03. Had a minor incident as a teen 25 years ago.

Everything was disclosed on all applications. So yea, not their fault.

During CA's CCW, I disclosed it also, but they said it never came up on any background checks.

I submitted a new application online (via permitium system) on Jan 26. Fingerprints were received Jan 31. My application status is still "processing order."

Mine finally approved last week. I noticed that for some people it went to approved real fast. But for everyone else, they react right after you call in.

My timeline:

2/3/2024: App submitted through permitium and fingerprints mailed
2/5/2024: Fingerprints received
2/23/2024: Sent email about status
3/4/2024: Approval email, text, and call received and a response from my email sent 2/23 saying it has been "Issued March 4, and has been mailed by USPS to the address on application."

So for me a month. I think if you email them with an inquiry it kind of pushes it forward "faster". Who knows??

I shipped them via Priority Mail and tracking gave me date it was delivered. Also, on their web site you can see your app progress. As mentioned above, phone calls might speed up process, but do not annoy them
You can always call those people-they are very nice and helpful. There is possible wait time for rep to get on phone, up to 10 minutes.

Give them call-they will tell you if they get it and status. Did you check their wen site for status?

Sorry the late reply. I do not see any changes in Permitium. I'll call them Monday.

Well I called AZ today and they received my prints. Now the good news is that I just received a call and my permit is approved and in the mail. FYI I submitted on 3/8/24.
As for this state still waiting for interview in August. App submitted 10/23 to SDSO.

When I called the lady acted like they messed up and would get right on it. as mentioned got the phone call several hours later. I guess I am used to the shlep rocks of california.
