    What's Your EDC (Gun) Belt

I own multiple gun belts of varying cost and size.

There is much discussion of the various holsters and yet gun belts literally carry the weight.

Using a dress belt, even with IWB holster doesn't give me the support or draw I expect.

My preferred choice has been the Aker B21 it is comfortable and affordable.

No, not the Shark skin model, but I would accept it as basis for a new BBQ rig ...

Like they say, you need to add two to four inches to the purchased length, depending your shape and your holster style (OWB vs. IWB)

Been using a 5.11 Leather belt with plastic stiffener for about a year. It has worked great at carrying full size IWB with reloads.

Lost a lot of weight since I purchased the 5.11 and ran out of holes. So I purchased a Ares Enhanced Ranger Belt from OPtactical yesterday. I'll update later about how it works for me. So far, everything I have heard about ares gear belts is positive.

My go to belt has been the 5.11, 1.5" Trainer belt. I own two of them. I like being able to get a perfect adjustment with the buckle and Velcro. They are fairly inexpensive and will be easy to replace. I usually wear an untucked shirt, so no one sees it anyway.

On the rare occasion I've tucked in a shirt and used a tuckable holster, I have a Dissegear 1.5" black leather gun belt.

About two weeks ago, I was in a store and tried on a Galco SB2 Leather gun belt in tan color. The craftsmanship was outstanding. I've never owned a tan belt and had to have it. I'm usually a 38, so the size 40 fit perfect without a firearm IWB. I ordered a 42, and with the holster on, it's perfect. Comfortable, and super sturdy. When it breaks in, it should be even more so.

Galco also makes the Cobra Tactical belt, with the Velcro and latching buckle. I'm curious to try one out. If anyone has, please let me know.

Bianchi B12 - works well but I'd still like something thicker. I may try an Amish double bridle leather belt next.

SOE low profile belt i have been wearing for a year now and has zero wear or breakdown .

The tags have changed and the name is a little different, but the more things change, the more things stay the same. Original S.O.E. Gear has always been -- and remains -- committed to producing the finest tactical gear available, at a fair price.

Some great choices with prices for most budgets. (Great, now I have something else to spend money on )

I am often surprised to see so many unreinforced (un-stiffened) belts being used for gun carry.

I know that they tend to be more flexible (which can cause rolling) and can be to some degree more comfortable.

But, I must cinch these belts much tighter to avoid a sagging (or shifting) holster and/or a sloppy draw.

Like holsters, a little break-in can be required depending on the material and design of the belt.

Bianchi Accumold Nylon Liner Belt (7205) is my daily driver.

I am not a leather belt kind of guy. I can use the liner daily, and put on the overbelt when I go shoot.

Beltman gun belt. Two layers of bull hide with a stiffener sandwiched in between.

I've got the same. Excellent belt and perhaps the best belt I own for just plain holding up my pants, carrying or not.

I might try that Beltman belt - I'm liking that horse hide belt.

I use the Aegis Belt from Area Gear. Great belt and best buy for the money.
