I am a property manager for over 100 homes. I do a lot of deposits. Do you think I should mention that in the good cause statement on the application? or stick with the "self defense"? I am sure we will talk about my profession in the interview and I can mention it then.

Not sure which county you will be interviewing in (even though it shouldn't matter if issuance policy was universally applied), but my advice would be to stick to self defense. Not only because of the guidance in Peruta, but also because linking the need for a CCW to your job could invalidate your CCW if your job were to change.

and go thru it. That will give you a good idea of how restrictive is your sheriff.

And some issuing agencies will apply restrictions based on your reason.
For example they may restrict you to only carry when performing those duties attested to in the cause for application.
