^ this. They need paper trails so when they eventually hurt someone their lawyers can show its a pattern and they were even warned by superiors to stop it. Otherwise; if its just their word against one citizen... they'll get paid admin leave and cleared... or the other possibility is they might just stop the behavior due to the complains and warnings....

As I said before, its not a law or PC code (you keep asking for something that's not applicable) its a code of conduct that California entered into along with the DOJ so we all can be blessed with the privilege of CCW....

If its a county then I'm certain it applies, a city then yes maybe they neglected to inform you or don't require it?...

I'm betting most folks on here have been informed, or maybe now checking unto it. Ignorance of the rules are not bliss. That's all I wanted to post, not argue with you...

You still don't know what your talking about. Where most people took issue with you is where you said that all counties require it. They don't, and various permit holders have said at different times their county does not.

Now you're saying it's a "code of conduct that California has entered into along with the DOJ." What the heck does that mean?

The problem is, the OP has the right to carry a gun. The officer does not have the right to search anyone he pleases. He doesn't even have the right to search every armed person. An officer can only do a frisk if (1) he can detain the person (satisfied here); (2) he has a reasonable belief that the person is armed (satisfied here); AND (3) that the person is dangerous. I don't see how #3 is satisfied. Handing over a LTC indicates a desire to avoid violence.

This is what Kern County makes you sign when you pick up your permit. I can't attest to what other counties say.

I wonder why they dont want you to duplicate it

You make no sense whatsoever. There is no such rule unless your county requires it. Counties that do not require it, do not require it. There appears to be a hint of backpedaling in your most recent post, but it's not clear since you tend to obfuscate so severely. I don't give a goldern what some under-informed representative of SBCSD (whatever that is) may have told you (and I'm still not convinced they really did), that does not make it true. Your phraseology is strange and ill-defined, and your refusal to communicate in a meaningful way leads me to question your motives.

I think it means his posts are made within a chemically enhanced template of some sort.

mark please stop spreading fud, Most of us that have been on these forums know the rules that apply to our specific IA. Each county/city makes their own rules. It is the CC responsibility to know the rules. Please educate yourself before you start spreading untrue information.

Meanwhile in az you can get pulled over with a loaded gun on the dash and they won't even look twice at it...

Maybe in OC, but that's not state law so it varies county by county.

I was pulled over or the first time after having a permit for four years, CHP said I ran on to the double yellow in a sweeping curve in the hills, I was shocked, thought I was getting pulled over or window tint, I'm sure I was never on the yellow, my wife agreed, and she's the first one to normally rat me out, any ways, had my PM9 on rt IWB, I knew my license was in center council so I would not expose weapon going for license, never said a word about my firearm.

Don't ask, don't tell, unless necessary.
