Just an update for everyone. Im not sure if anyone else got their call yet to pick up their license but Kathryn called me on Friday, the 24th. picked up my license on the 28th. This has been a very long process, but it is worth the wait. All in all it took me about 7 months.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone here at Calguns for all the help and guidance along the way.

Congrats, cibb510. I thought waiting ~100 days last year was mental torture. I can only sympathize with those still waiting for "the call".

I, too, give credit to Calguns and CGF. So, instead of splurging on nachos, I made an additional contribution to CGF after I received my LTC.

Anyone out there know how many LTCs have been issued thus far?

Come...on...you...guys! Somebody has to have received a call by now! They called a huge batch of folks 9 weeks ago today, and told them to turn in targets.

Who has received a call to pick up their permit out of that group? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?.....

I just got the call to come in and get my final picture taken for my permit. I called the Deputy who schedules the final permit picture, and I'll have it in hand tomorrow! So awesome. Thanks to Catherine and the S/O, she said they were crazy busy, but things are moving along.

I hope they are placing more calls today...

150 days start to finish, that's 4 months, 27 days.

I have a squeaky clean background, stable residency and work history, did my shooting class while I was waiting for the Live Scan, and tried to streamline things as much as possible. I figure that's why things went as fast as they did.

From what Catherine said, she sounds pretty slammed, but she said they're handling things as fast as possible. It would be cool to see this thread stay on top.

I was talking to the officer who prints the permits and she said that 10 guys called in yesterday to schedule time for their final permit appointment. It looks like they are doing things in manageable groups.

First off, I am glad you got your permit, congrats.

BUT,

I applied 30+days ahead of you, and I haven't even got the call to turn in targets, figure that one out.

I am similar in background, live in solano my whole life, unique name, very clean record (driving too), and Debbie told me there was no hold up on my livescan, yet you have your's and I am at best a few months out.

Hell, I did my livescan BEFORE you turned in your inital app............
