Can any recent permit pickups confirm if we need to carry both the paper permit and the plastic card? When I picked up mine a while back, they were unsure of the protocol and told me to carry both. Thanks!

When I picked up my modified permit a couple of weeks ago the ?clerk? said you didn?t have to carry the paper sheet anymore just the plastic card.

When I applied back in Feb, the earliest appointment was Nov 2nd so I took it. Then the next month, they emailed people saying there's open spots in April for those who want to reschedule, but I was going to be out of the country during that period so I skipped out on those appts.

I figured they might have other open slots in the near future so I wrote a simple program to make rest api calls to permitium every 15 minutes checking for open slots before my appointment date with text notifications if an open slot was found. I ended up rescheduling for May 18th when my program notified me of new openings.

They may do something similar in the near future, where they open more slots on an earlier date.

this was the case for me too but later in the day i went back to the site and they had openings the following week. just check the link multiple times a day.

The clerk was wrong.

While not advised, you don't have to carry either. But make it easy on yourself and carry one or the other.

Submitted the range and firearm qualification on October 10th and recieved the permit on October 12th

That?s really fast. I completed training this weekend - hoping to have permit in hand by EOW (10/27)

Had my Psych Test on Friday 10/20. I understand the intent of the questions but man, some of them were like "Yes, do not give me a CCW". A nice feature that made testing easier was keyboard number input for the questions and auto-advance.

Roughly 12 hours after the Test, I received the email to schedule my Psych Interview. The soonest available was 11/09, for 30 minutes.

by checking, you mean just signing into your order tracker and using the re-schedule button to get the cal to open up again right?
