    It's a state-issued permit form. If it's lame, it's the state's fault. At least our sheriff's office folds it, laminates it, and cuts it down to fit in a wallet.

    Is just me or is pretty lame that the SJC permit looks like a little piece pf paper from a copy machine. Couldn't it be more professional looking. I mean a school ID card looks more professional considering how much it costs for the process.

    I changed all three guns listed on my permit. You need to get a certificate from an approved trainer showing that you've qualified with the gun(s) you want to add. Then you just take it in to the Sheriff's office (I think it has to be on a Tuesday or Wednesday -- call and check), fill out a simple form listing the new serial number(s), and pay a $10.00 fee for permit modification. They told me it would take 2-3 weeks to get the new permit, but they called me exactly 1 week after I turned in the modification request and I picked up the new permit the next day.

    Once a ccw is issued, how hard is it or how long to get a new handgun added to the license? Does it take like 2 months?

    Except when you turn in your forms at your appointment, you'll sit down with an investigator and go over each form, have your picture taken, and get fingerprinted for the Live Scan.
