San Bernardino CCW Renewal

Hey guys just wanted to know what the process is like when it comes time to renew your CCW. How long does it typically take for the process? I called them today and they said the earliest time I can apply to renew is 90 days before the expiration date. I am assuming that the renewal process is much faster than the original application? It took me almost 8 months the first time to get my CCW.

Correct.

You will need another for the range, or two if you take class at AVGC, separate MO to AVGC for $25
If you have the option, I recommend AVGC due to the smaller class size and the instructor is really good.

Last MO is when you physically pick up the permit.

Cool thank you guys! I won't need the m/o for the range until my range date right? And should I fill the money orders out before I go for my interview or wait until I get there?

Arrive with everything ready to go, do not sign the MOs or the application until asked.

If things go sideways during the interview and you are immediately DQ'd they will not take the MOs and you can refund them (supposedly, nobody has reported this, FWIW, only 2 denials at all reported)

MOs are generally good for 90 days, so the day you get the call to schedule your range date, go ahead and buy the MOs for the range and final pickup.
