CCW Class 11/5-11/6 (don't have any time to do it sooner)

Process was super straight forward, Livescan appointment took longer than the SSD interview. I was very surprised the firearms check only took 2 days based on some of the previous responded, though if it's a manual check - might have helped that I purchased my CCW firearm at the end of 2020.

Update, completed class and uploaded the forms/updated proof of residency on 11/6, currently waiting on final approval/payment then pickup.

Anyone know the current turn-around time?

Does the bolder text mean you are putting only one gun on the permit? If you want to add others, you may not be able to modify the permit for two years after issuance. But you can add (to total 3) firearms up until you submit your training docs…they will be included on the certification report. Plenty of time to arm up..
Only have one that I care to carry

Considering the thread title and other content, I assume you're asking if the mods would be a problem for Sac CCW, and the short answer seems to be 'no'.
Its been asked in many CCW classes and the answer seems to be that Sac Issuing Agency sets few limits on mods, so you're likely ok from their point of view.
(other aspects of modding a Glock vis-a-vis resale, perception, lawsuits etc are a whole different kettle of fish).

He did his add on within the last month or so. And we won't know if Cooper will follow Jones's policy or make his own. Only time will tell.

They have just gotten faster lately. Mine took almost 90 days exactly. There was a huge backlog earlier this year bur in the last few months they have gotten very fast at processing it.

You can add a firearm sooner than renewal time. For Sacramento County anyway. Friend of mine added one a couple months after getting his CCW through Sac county

any idea how long renewals are taking right now? i'd like to get it before they close but not months in advance.
    thank you
I renewed a few weeks ago and it took less than 48 hrs.

I renewed on a Monday (just after midnight) and they notified me the next day (Tuesday afternoon) that I could pick up my renewal permit.

They're trying to approve as many permits as possible, before Cooper takes over.
