Anyone with an upcoming or recent appointment? I have my first in a couple weeks, curious what to expect with the new sheriff etc. First time application for CCW.

I submitted my renewal 12/18 & got the "you're approved" email today 12/21/22 which is remarkedly fast.

For the good moral character statement, I wrote, "I've been an RN for 35+ years and sought out for advice both professionally and personally."

The email did not say anything about the office being closed, but I remember that it's normally closed at this time of the year. Guess i'll be waiting. I'll only be about 5 days without an active permit in hand.

Is using 12 round mags on a P365 during qualification a bad idea?

No one cares...they're legal to possess and use during the injunction on the lawsuit.

But, they have no value in the certification Course of Fire. It was set up for 6-round revolvers, and your ammo loads will reflect that. Your max load will be 6 rounds with reloads.

Sac County "Good moral character"?

Just submitted my renewal for my CCW (had it since 2011). Instead of "good cause", it asked for comments regarding my "good moral character". I was not sure how to respond, but basically said that I had never been arrested, had no financial failings (bankruptcy, evictions, unpaid debt), and was a productive member of society.

Anyone else run into this yet? I didn't see any threads, so I was at a loss.
