    The website (https://sacramentoca.permitium.com/ccw/start) says:
Prior to Filling Out This Application - NEW
-Be prepared to scan a copy of your v, or state issued ID.
-Scan two (2) items for proof of residency: Acceptable proof of residency is as follows:
--Two (2) pieces of proof of residency dated within the last 60 days. WE DO NOT accept overdue bills. We also do not accept documents from DMV, lease/rental agreements, nor insurance statements. If your bills are not delivered to your residence, please go ONLINE and print out a copy and scan it into the website. Acceptable proof of residency must be a monthly bill such as: //snip//
-Your home address must be current with the California DMV.
The license must be valid, but the address on the license need not match the DMV records. However, your proof of residency documents has to match the DMV record.

Good question. I know a year and a half ago when I had DMV issue me a license with my current address on the front it was a pain. They kept trying to afix a update on the back of the license saying that was all I needd. Finally paid a fee and told them it was needed for a permit application then got it.

I'm in the same boat as well. Interview on Jan 23, confirmed all docs good to go, given the LiveScan paperwork and was told to wait for approval to go ahead with LiveScan and training. No response so far.

I emailed and get the auto-response, there is nothing on my order tracker asking for documents.. I don't want to be that guy and call but this is a but ridiculous.
