Thanks Dvrjon. The link says no livescan service forms are provided at SSD. Do I need to print something out to take in? Or do they enter all my info into the computer while i'm there?Leave a comment:

I had my initial interview last week, and after reading all your guys experiences, it seems like getting the livescan done now will speed up the process. Does anyone know the hours of the office on Hurley? I know they open at 9 and are closed for lunch, but don't remember when they close, and can't get through on the phone to ask. I thought they said they close at 2, can anyone verify that. And it's walk in, not appointment, correct?Leave a comment:

My confirmation instructed me to bring everything I submitted online as well as driver license, but once there the interviewer notified me all he needed to see was my license. They may have changed these instructions, as I applied 1/1/17.

Just curious about the new system, but did the confirmation of the appointment provide no instruction on what to bring?Leave a comment:

Normal. I Applied in March and couldn't get an appointment until July. I brought a copy of my application to the appointment just to have for review. The only thing I was required to have was my drivers license.Leave a comment:

Just submitted the online application last night with all proofs of residency and such. The first available appointment was toward the end of October. Is that normal? That's 3 months!
What do I need to bring to the appointment?Leave a comment:

Looking back, I would have started livescan the same day as my initial interview, and I would have taken my training class about 2 months after my initial appointment, I think this would have saved me almost 2 months of waiting.1/1/17 filled out online application
1/26/17 went to initial interview
3/4/17 decided to start livescan prior to email approval from Sheriff
5/12/17 Receive approval email from Sheriff directing livescan and training
6/5/17 livescan approved, receive email from Sheriff reminding me to upload training certs.
7/15/17 & 7/16/17 training complete and documents uploaded to sheriff website
7/17/17 Receive email from Sheriff to pickup permit Tuesday 7/18.

Has anyone been approved or asked for updated residence proof that has not done a live scan? Just trying to see a pattern here.Leave a comment:

Mine was 3/6. Did LiveScan the same day.
I heard back that I needed to submit updated proof of residence.
Have not heard anything else back.Leave a comment:

Had my initial interview today. Was brief, may be 15 minutes. I was essentially asked the same questions on the application plus a little more detail about if I have ever called the police for any reason or had the police called on me or ever received any citations from law enforcement.
The officer said to expect up to 2 months before getting an approval e-mail since they have had some big turnover in the panel that approves CCWs. Hoping new members aren't making it harder.Leave a comment:

I still haven't heard a single thing from them. My interview was 1/26. I emailed them asking about it on May 25th. No email or update on the website. Absolutely ridiculous.Leave a comment:
