If you have a well crafted GC and you have provided all the documents and everything they have requested then you should be fine.

Also, just because your livescan clears, it does not mean you're in the clear. If you have any tickets or any involvement with the police and did not be honest, they will most likely find out. They do their own investigation including checking social media and all of that.

Do they really check social media? if so that is the first I have heard of it. In Riverside, under a prior sheriff, they had an illegal policy to requiring you to provide references even though state law said they could not require any information beyond what was on the application.

Silly question but is it required to have 2 mags per firearm? I got my proceed to training email sooner than expected so I hadn't ordered the second magazine. Scotty has classes next Sunday but not sure if my mags will be here on time.

I don't think there is any such legal requirement. The only issue is what does your trainer require.

Exactly, on almost any site offering CCW training there is a list of required stuff, like eye/ear protection, holster, and among it, at least 2 magazines and speedloarder

Yes, but I would take the initiative and write up a new GC statement that includes everything old and new and submit it with a note asking them to replace your old GC with the new one.
