Still standing by my sources. AV may say nothing has changed, but it's obvious, at least to me, that we're seeing changes to LG GC with the recent denials. That was not the case before/during summer.


Had seaweed or Vaderz had their review during June, I think they get their permits.


Again, I don't think AV is micromanaging the department. He's got too much going on. CCW Unit is probably not on his first page of things to review in the morning.

But let's see how things progress. Based on my sources, i would recommend improving your GC to above LG.

Right, but I did answer the call and the deputy told me I'd be receiving an email after the call with the interview details. She did not give me any other contact info and the email hasn't arrived. Call came from an unknown number around noon today.

Got the call to schedule an interview today. The person I spoke to mentioned she'd be sending me an email with details, but I still have yet to receive anything. How long between the call and the email did those who interviewed have to wait?

Got called on a Friday for Tuesday interview. Got the email on monday

The email only tells you the address and time of your appt. Did you not write any of this down while speaking to the deputy? What area are you in? Do you recall what station the deputy said the interview will be held?

Pro tip for interview: make sure to bring copies and originals of ALL your supporting documents that you've already sent with your application and whatever else the deputy requested you to bring.

They did not tell me the station, only Thursday at 9am. I did submit my application and check directly to the Hall of Justice, would that be the location of the interview? I wrote down all of the necessary documents they listed off (I've had it all squared away in a manila folder since June lol). Should've asked the location smh. Fingers crossed the email comes through in the next few days.

I think we should avoid this as it could be seen as being antagonistic on our part if there are any negative feedback. As has already been mentioned some of the deputies have read through this thread. This could potentially jeopardize the application of those who are still going through the process.

I've been carrying my Shield in the Phlster Enigma, and once I got it dialed in right, I don't even feel it on me. It's not the most beginner friendly to set up, but it's a great option for those of us who want to carry under sweats or anything that's not pants with a belt.

SW M&P Shield. I just got my Phlster Enigma in the mail the other day..just need JM Holsters to make a holster for me so I can use it. I have a Tier1 with a sidecar but my dad bod shape does not agree with it. I ordered wedges (should have done that a while ago) to help with any printing. But once I have the holster to work with the Enigma, I will be strictly using that.
