i'm losing hope too..I reached out after 8 wks of live scan and interview day passed. I was told to reach out and was Ignored when I did.. I understand they must be super busy. so all I can do is just be understanding I guess. Last thing I want to do is annoy them... I'm so clueless as to why I have not been contacted. Anyway I'm happy for all those who have been approved, I hope nobody ever has to use deadly force.. Do your best to avoid the situation at all cost.. May peace be around the corner for all of us and my heart goes out to the 28 yr old female officer who was killed in chicago.. At the end of the day, for all the good law enforcement men and woman, thank you and be safe..

It is what it is.. If i was meant to be accepted then I will. In the meantime I do carry my pepper spray on my appendix.

I'm ready to start the process, and instead of reading to much trying to find (I know, I'm lazy. I also work nearly 7 days a week, so there's that) I thought I'd ask y'all where to start. Should I go to my local police chief (Gardena) or straight to the Sheriff?

Yup. Go straight to the police chief in Gardnea. Park in the nearest "CCW Pick Up" parking spot. Wait in your car. They'll call you in when your permit is ready for pick up. Make sure to bring $30 check or money order your proof of training and live scan forms.

if a spouse was going to apply can they put the same handguns as the other spouse? ie wife can apply and put same handguns as the husband (they are drosed to the husband)

Got the email to complete training this evening! about 6 weeks and 1 day from my interview. Did my training the weekend after my interview, so I sent in my certs this evening.

Fun fact, my ATI number never provided any info on the applicant status website. Always said "not found, contact requesting agency"

Negative. My spouse will be a CCW holder and we cannot interchange firearms.
