There was the person who couldn't do the interview on a certain day because of father's surgery and didn't, or hasn't got a call back for a few weeks. Was it Vaderz?

Yep, that was me, not surgery itself, it was earlier, but post-surgery follow up with dad's surgeon, and considering that my dad is 84, his well being is much more important to me, obviously . It was pure Murphy's Law -- I had every single day/hour available, except that one.

More than 10 of my students with solid red and light red with March and early April apps haven't received their interview calls yet. The whole process is BS and unprofessional. They all got replied with the generic message of We received your app and will be contacted once an investigator gets assigned.

If they took your money for any service, they are responsible to answer your questions. This is a s h i t t y service.

Agreed, this whole process is all over the place.

Thursday will be 13 weeks from my interview, but unfortunately, I wasn't advised to call in after 8 weeks to check in. Anyone else have an interview early May and still waiting around?

My interview was May 12th, livescan full completed May 29th and currently waiting still as well.

So I just realized I may be in a small pickle. I have my pickup for this Wednesday but completely forgot my license expired yesterday. I already went and got a temporary license while I wait for the real one in the mail.

My question to those who have picked up, you think this would be a problem?

The deputy gave me the form and told me that I could get it done, but he didn't specifically say to do so; he was really firm in comparison to everyone else's descriptions of their deputies lol. I sat around for a month and decided to do it anyways.

My interview was May 12th, livescan full completed May 29th and currently waiting still as well.

Dang, so very similar timeframe. I'm getting discouraged coming up on 3 months after my interview. My livescan was fully completed on 6/14.

Today is 8 wks since my interview and live scan. I was told to reach out if I didn't receive any notice by now.. So i took the chance and called the initial deputy who interviewed me this morning.. I left him a polite message reminding him that I was instructed to reach out by him and I also mentioned the generic email responses everybody is getting so that was the reason for my phone call.. I left my name and phone number so I guess we'll see..

13 weeks, ouch ... I would reach out.... There is a chance your application might have been misplaced.. Maybe!!! If I get a response I will inform everybody here if It was a good or bad... lol... If it was a good response then perhaps that might give you some hope to give them a call as well..

It's really scummy. It should not be so arbitrary and random. If it's a denial, fine, send out the denial letter promptly. Unless people are just too embarrassed to say on here, I don't think we've had anyone confirm they were denied, at least not in the couple of months I've followed this thread. Are they just going to send out thousands all at once?

And if you dare to raise the 90 day legal requirement that they treat as a joke, it probably is just an auto-denial lol. Yet if us peasants ever miss a legal deadline for anything, it gets held against us immediately.

Hopefully SCOTUS mandates shall issue. I'm glad LA is more reasonable than it used to be, but this is still absurd.
