    CA b/g 7/8
    FBI b/g7/6
    Firearms8/4

She was approved on 8/31. I didn't receive any notice yet. She missed the initial call and received an email and a text to pay the remaining fee. She scheduled the range qualifications when she got a call back to remind her to set up a appt on 9/7. She was able to set up an appointment for 10/23. She emailed to ask about the holsters and a officer instructed her to bring a good quality holster and said it didn't matter if it was IWB or OWB. She decided she is going to bring OWB because she think it's easier and less stressful to qualify with. She asked the person on the phone about my application and was told "...moving through the chain of command." Hope this hopes clear up somethings for you guys

Interesting. Did you or your wife have to do an interview? Did both of your live scans complete at the same time? And are there any other variables/factors that might've affected your application (if you are comfortable sharing)? Still trying to figure out how they are going about doing things. Thanks for sharing!

One would think that is the easier button to push...

My current class is in February, if a new class is added in November, she said those already scheduled would be notified in order and moved up to the new spots. So likely my spot would only move up to January, possibly December, if at all.
That's better than nothing. I'm just thankful that I'm not in one of our neighboring counties right now.

Perhaps. If they are actively trying to add more courses in the coming months, I don't think it's wise to schedule people just to reschedule them at a later date. That would take more time and resources from them when they could be processing apps, backgrounds, interviews, etc. And there are definitely a good amount of applicants who are not posting on CG.
