At the rate things are going I am not doubting that I will have to wait until Jan 2024 to see any kind of progress in my application....

Over three weeks now since submitting my training qualification certificate (confirmed received) and not even an email about “scheduling” to pick it up (which I see could add several more weeks). Frustrating, especially with no timeline in sight.

It took me almost 4 weeks if I recall correctly. Hang in there, it'll happen.

It took something like 5-6 weeks for me. They do them in batches. You may notice when you pick up your permit that it was dated maybe two weeks or more before your pick up date. Massively frustrating that you get shorted on your issue date when you have to renew in less than a year.

Been 4 weeks since I completed finger prints and live scan. Been crickets since. What gives.

When I got fingerprinted 9/1/23, it was “completed” 9/9 and my psych eval scheduled for next available of 9/28. So every step is being elongated, presumably as new applications keep coming in. I’m now a full 4 weeks since submitting my qualification certificate…

I applied on August 26, 2022. I was told this week that I am queue 1015 and that they are processing applications in the 800's now.

I was told by Mulder three months ago on August 8, 2023, that they were processing up to 700s.

It seems they are processing less than 50 per month.

And moving to annual from every two years? yikes! Maybe we need to submit requal certificates 6 weeks before the permit expiration date.

All going per plan to delay and stonewall the process. Those that were issued previously will lose the permit right until the delayed renewal occurs.
The only thing that is worse than an idiot, is someone who argues with one.

Where can one find a list of all the approved vendors to take the qualification test? I need to add a firearm to my permit.

                        Thanks.

Since it changes, the best approach would be to email Judea for the current approved list…

For the current holders, what?s the process of adding a new firearm to the permit? Is it same as new applicants in that we just qualify and send Judea the certificate and pick up a new permit?

Also what?s the limit now? 2 or 3 firearms? Thanks

They're not, if they can't even handle new applicants, next week it will be 15 months since I submitted my application and not even an interview so ludicrous.
