I thought they upgraded to the credit card style permit, like Arizona - no?

I never heard about the 5.

I asked her if they laminate the paper permit and Jessica said they don't anymore because they wanted to be able to add firearms. I asked if they allowed more than 3 now and she told me there was no longer a limit and all we had to do was qualify each firearm; no class required, just the qualification.

Yup, the ones that matter are the ones that you qualified with and listed on Firearms Safety and Proficiency Cert from your trainer. These will be listed on your permit when the processed your application.

Keep in mind that if you have 20 firearms listed, you'll have a big/long rice paper permit type with all the firearms that you want to carry.

I wanted to add about 5 firearms/handguns that I shoot the most. This way, I can keep/transport them loaded/concealed without issues.

When I picked up my renewal permit, yesterday at 0813 hours, I asked the CCW clerk that was processing my app about adding additional firearms since I was thinking of dropping/changing one. To my surprise, she said there's no limit and can add as many as you want but one has to qualify them and complete/submit Modifications on Permitium.

I've never I thought I say this. Great job Sheriff Gore!

I wished I knew this during my renewal training, I would have added a few more.
Now I need to re-qualify to add a few more.

From this morning, no limit! 100% sure.

Also, the new additional credit cards are very nice. However, the clerk said I still need to carry the rice paper too since DOJ has not approved of the credit card type.
    Fantastic!

Just need to qualify the add'l firearms. No need to take a class or requalify the original firearms.

"Do we have to re-qualify with our original 3 all over again when adding more than three?" Are you asking this about renewal or just additions to the permit? Sorry, I wasn't clear on your question.
For the renewal, yes. For the latter, no, you only re-qual the additions. Per clerk that I asked.

No walk-in. You need to submit online app in Permitium to setup appointment.

I asked the clerk about the listed guns vs the ones that I qualified, she said no problem.

On my renewal, I also listed different guns on Permitium then I sold one of them hence I qualified with different one. No issue either.

IMO, I don't think it really matters what you listed on the application but the ones you qualified with and listed on the Firearms Safety and Proficiency Certificate; these will be on your permit.

However, if you have doubts, you can always ask them directly via email.
Thanks, that puts my mind at ease.
