Yes they are actively trying to speed up the process. At a SDCGO seminar I attended they informed us they have recommended the electronic online system that Orange county uses to process CCW. I asked the clerk she confirmed they are looking at a few platforms from different counties.

Congrats - Nice to see they are consistently improving, As mentioned already - it used to be that after the second interview it was typically right at the 90 day time point that the approval notification was received.

I concur. These are the first two I have heard of that did not go within a few days of the 90 day limit. Kudos to SDSO licensing division for improving actual service rather than providing just lip service as most government bureaucracies do.

Let's hope this flows through to increased total throughput and shorter wait times for that initial appointment.

Can anyone tell me if that’s business days or calendar days?
Also is everyone still receiving actual approval letters in the mail or emails? (Someone mentioned that they were informed they would be emailing approvals and declining with letters)
