Let us know how the "nice ladies" treat you in the end.

Well, tomorrow marks 90 days since my in-office visit("interview" doesn't quite apply since I just went from station to station) on May 9th. Haven't heard a peep. Called a couple times during those 3 months but wasn't provided any more info that I received from the nice ladies I met in person.

We'll see how it goes - I'll keep y'all updated.

Back to the desks in back for application review, then out to the waiting area where there was a small room for fingerprints and mugshots...er.. photos.

They did want work and spouse name/phone number. Are they actually calling them for anything?

Things must be progressing. Got a request to reupload my water bill. Seems my name wasn't on the portion I had scanned. Just to be safe, I sent my water AND cable bill. Hopefully I'll be approved by week's end.

Want to add that new applicants are only processed/"interviewed" on Mondays.

Mine was exactly 21 days ... on day 21 Mariza emailed asking if I'd like it mailed or if I'd like to pick it up.

Funny though - just over a week after submission she emails about an active and outstanding moving violation that I failed to note, from 2012! Failure to stop that was still active with the traffic court. I couldn't even remember the damn ticket but I don't understand how it wasn't brought to my attention on previous two submittals. This was my second renewal.

I went to SDSO to get fingerprinted for out of state CCW, saw many CCW appointments. They seemed to process pretty quick.

This could be pretty good sign for SD folks. Also, my renewal only took 13 days from app submission to approval and on the 16th day, permit arrived in the mail.

I just applied but I may have answered this question wrong:

"Have you ever applied for and been denied a CCW license? If yes, please enter the agency name, date, and reason for denial.

I just put "San Diego, good cause statement not accepted"

I don't know the date or agency etc, it was years ago.

    Scheduled for next March.

My interview was scheduled for today at 2:00 P.M. I arrived early at 1:40 P.M. and was out of there by 2:05 P.M. I dressed causally. The interview involved going over the entries on the application that I submitted online. I had to date and sign and initial several places on my application. There were no questions regarding "Good Cause" or why did I want a CCW. Next, I was fingerprinted, then photographed. Bring your driver's license, I was asked for it during the fingerprinting segment. I brought a copy of everything I submitted online but was not asked for any of it. The Sheriff's personnel were courteous and professional and they had this process working like a clock.

I was told that the DoJ and FBI are backlogged on running fingerprints by 60-90 days.

That's what I did. My original appt date was like 15 months out. I checked once a month later, nothing. After like 3 months I just happened to check and got an appt like 3 weeks out. Still took 8 months start to finish. My timeline is in my other posts
