Well, tomorrow marks 90 days since my in-office visit

you're probably gonna get the call any day now. sometimes it's 87 days, sometimes 95, seen it a bunch of other times in this thread check it out.

On day 32 (day 9 since updating my info as requested) and still being assigned to processor. At this point I believe I'll be "naked" for a time.

IMO, The wait for the actual permit is worse than the “90” days.

I’ve found that corresponding with an actual licensing person is faster than the general “CCW” email.

Got an email from SDSO on the 90 day mark (yesterday) . Might be seeing some movement on mine shortly.

Who has modified and added a firearm onto their CCW recently? Back in April it took less than a week for the modification to be added and mailed to me. I am wondering how long the turnaround time is currently with all the new applicants.

Want to add that new applicants are only processed/"interviewed" on Mondays.

CONGRATS!! If you're in North County I can't recommend John Russo at North County Shooting Center enough. I've done the initial & renewal with him. He's retired LEO and has a wealth of knowledge.

I sent an email to the office and got a response this morning. My permit has been approved and will be mailed out Monday. They said they were waiting to mail it closer to my expiration date so I wouldn't lose any time.
