i hear gap stuff is good, but i think R+D offers the same level of performance and you save several hundred bucks. can't go wrong with that. randy is coming out with his own custom action too. it's all novelty at this point: stiller, surgeon, templar, etc.

gap is just way bigger, so they command a premium in the marketplace. it's much more mainstream than r+d.

i'm extremly happy with Randy Cain's work. any rifle that i want built professionally will only go to Randy. he's #1 in my book.

You could buy a LOT of hair care products if you did that.

He doesnt do M70s, or atleast I didnt think so. I figured I might as well give GAP a try, prices for labor are not bad at all. Wait isnt bad, he has all the reamers even 308AI. My next build is PAI 223AI. Then im happy for awhile.
              I just need a scope for a 7wsm, 223AI, and SPR.

"a while" is about 3 weeks right?

Now that I'm close to finishing up the 243, I'm getting a hankering for a 223.
Maybe one with Puff's bottom metal...

this is going to be my last build. my wallet can't take this project, but i'm too excited about building a .243

this is going to be my last build in a long, long, long time. it'll be my 09' season centerfire rifle for competition use, and my aics will be my fun shooting, prone rifle spitting out them 168s that it likes so much. my savage will be my rimfire rifle for fun plinking at aps. that's all i need to shoot.

m3s are nice, but i would have gone with a hardtop.

                          e46 or e92?

i was going to buy one last year, but i rather have money in the bank. there are the times to hold on to large sums of cash. those monthly payments might creep up on you fast.

It was a deal. I couldnt pass it up... Id rather of got a matched out rem1187 or whatever the police auto shot gun is. Then match it out. But this was new and same price.

Whats the difference. Its a pistol grip full stock, with full cap mag.
