                                          Welcome to Calguns. I am guessing that you are a victim of auto-correct and actually own an Inland M1 Carbine. To buy a long gun in CA you will need a vaild CA DL or ID card that has your correct home address on it. For a handgun you will need the same plus another form of ID like a utility bill with your correct home address on it.

                                          Handgun purchases also require an HSC (handgun safety certificate) available at the gun dealer for I believe $25.

                                          There is a 10 day wait to pickup the firearm and with few exceptions (curio & relic long guns) all private sales must go through an FFL where all the above requirements apply.
