Checking in another noob

I really am new to guns. Bought my self a life long desire for birthday in may. M1 Carbine and M1 Garand. It is first week of Sept and I need a new safe already.

I am very pleased with every firearm I have purchased. Would be better if I could have got 25% cheaper like 46 other states enjoy but being born and raised here I don't have many options. I shoot .30 06, .30 Cal carbine, .223 (556), 7.62X39, .22LR, 12 gauge and 9MM.

I am new here. Been into firearms since I was a kid, and can't believe I never knew about this site. Absolutely amazing. We have to stand together! I will be regularly contributing to this site financially and to the legal defense aspects as well. Look forward to checking out all the aspects of this forum. Live in Socal and love going to Lytle or Burrow so I would like to know when guys from this site go out there. Met the guys from this site at the Costa Mesa Show and that was what got me turned on to this website.

I'm a US Army vet (Abrams Tanker), currently working as your typical corporate cubicle rat.

I am a lifelong milsurp / military antique firearms collector and shooter. Also a huge history, art, and travel buff.

Yet another newbie. Been a lurker for years, seen some of you guys at the local gun shows. Been shooting since I was a kid and have looked at the board with much interest. Hopefully I'll be able to add something around here.
