    "Reason for deletion"

I've noticed many posts, including a couple of mine, have been getting deleted lately. No rules broken whatsoever, no explanation as to why it was deleted, just a mod who doesn't like it so they get rid of it. There should be a function, similar to iTrader rating, that requires a mod to give a reason as to why a post was deleted.

It's weird to have thought police roaming calguns.

I hope it is not brilliant and insightful posts like the one above being deleted.

He's not trolling, just calling it.
Every couple of months someone posts the same thing, with the same result.

          I'll say locked, not deleted.

"Calling it." Interesting, I suppose I was calling it as well. He apparently has nothing better to do today. Called it.

It's like everyone who was shunned by their "facebook friends" now comes to troll on calguns to make themselves feel better. I guess it's just OT. Oh well.

If you have been here longer than 2012, you might understand IBTL. A legit comment in cases like these used for humorous purposes. Nothing more. Lighten up man.

As it is, you are clearly the one trolling ... ohhh the hypocrisy is strong.

I understand what it means, and yes, it can be used for humorous purposes, especially when in OT due to the idiocy of some of the threads. But, you realize this is the Suggestions section, and I was making a suggestion. Your use of "IBTL" in this section is unwarranted and has no other purpose other than to troll.

I understand humor, I'm not a robot, but this isn't really humorous; it's more annoying than anything. Like I said, this is the suggestion section, not OT, so for you to come to this subsection to post such nonsense just shows that you really have nothing better to do, which is sad and I am sorry. Clearly trolling? I don't think you even understand trolling. Sad.

So if a mod deletes your posts, you get a -1 mod deletion rating? That actually sounds like a great way to filter out those who spout nonsense.

                        Wait...This could be useful.

And here I was thinking this was a lame thread.

I'm pretty sure vBulletin actually does give us all ratings that are updated every time we get a slap on the hands. Unfortunately, only the Mods (maybe just admins?) can see it.

This ^^^^ There appears to be a useful suggestion in this thread after all. IBTL no longer warranted.

To the OP, every thread like this that has gotten mod response I've ever seen always starts out with the usual "I don't understand" and "I did nothing wrong" and then goes hilariously sideways on the big reveal from the mod on why the deletion occurred. You can't blame others for predicting that which has a 90%+ success rate.
