Login problems

Hi

I tried to change my password. I received a password reset link in an email. Then another email with a new password. Have tried logging in many times using the provided password but no luck. Please help.

Methinks the ?Pics that make you LOL every time...MUST BE FAMILY FRIENDLY.? thread needs to be closed and a 2nd one started. I added a new message with photo and it took 68 seconds to complete.

Clicking on the Last option from the top takes a long time.

The thread is 13 years old with 67002 messages. Probably exceeded the size of the message counter.

Time for some cleaning.

You are not logged in

I log in and am accepted then if i search and want to look at an item on the site sends me the you are not logged in message. I log in on the the message and it sends me the same message.

After opening CG and clicking "new posts", I get this message and cannot go further.

I'm subscribed to few threads and they all load fast from the email notification link except for the LOL thread.

Old issue; recurring bug:

Apostrophes and quotes during drafting of posts appear correctly. The Review post (before posting) shows correct characters. When the post is submitted and posted (formally enters the BB system?) the apostrophes and quotes translate to question marks.

The post can then be edited to change the question mark to a proper apostrophe or quotation mark.

E.g.:

?Isn?t it fair to those who can?t (whatever)??

That may suggest that the problem lies with the transition of the post from draft to final within the BBS and not a function of misreading external submissions from various operating systems.
