It's interesting to see what the forum saves when it dies during the middle of forming or submitting a post, as the post window does save typed content in a cache which is apparently tied to the forum database, not local computer, since I often find the posts truncated from what I originally was typing. I just completed on in the prep and survival section a few minutes ago that was started three hours ago

Meanwhile, we enjoy the evening reprieve until just before the witching hour, or maybe sooner, then the forum sleeps for awhile again.

Maybe we could create a read-only copy of the current site in a more stable environment using one of the available tools (ArchiveBox, HTTrack, Python Scrappy, etc.) and then re-create the active forum structure from scratch in new forum software. There seems to be little chance that the current forum will ever be restored to full functionality as it is.

Looks like Kes has added the color red to the site.

I wish he would fix the logon problems instead. Make the site work properly first before coloring it up.

Nope, mine is still blue, lower right. (Calguns v2) Maybe that's what he is talking about.

Thank goodness we got some color change . . . Every 3 to 4 days when I got on the site the "Blue" was just a reminder of the old days.

Are you sure you just didn't accidentally change the Default Style/vB5 Style color election? VERY bottom left corner drop-down menu, pops up a color list. It's not a change, and has been available for the past couple of years. While it offers over a dozen colors, the prior version also offered options of blue or red.

To go back to the original style (or closest to it) select "CalGuns v2" .

I've just always stuck with "CalGuns v2" blue as it's easier on the eyes and stands apart, easier to read.

Very, very bottom left corner, very last and left thing, last bottom big colored bar, there's a drop down menu for Default style. Once you pic a color, it may say that color instead, but it's next to the language selection option to the left of that.
