I am unable to stay signed in. Seems like cookies are not working. I am also forced to verify that I am a human each time I click on anything. The site is pretty much unusable to me at this point

Your issue could a problem with cookies. Since we now have to use www.calguns.net to access the site, I would check out your browser configuration.

The 'old dogs new tricks' thing would apply if this was the only site anyone ever used and we just know nothing other...

Many of us use many forums for various hobbies or research... I use several for guitar, trucks, cars, guns... been on loads of sites... we're familiar with what works and what doesn't.
