so if we didn't post our itrader feedback screen shots before the update we can't do it anymore? I see the thread in the market place but it's closed. I took the screen shots because someone verbally told me to but hadn't been using the site much because it was pretty much unusable for a bit there and didn't see any instructions to do so.

Site was very professional user friendly nice looking pretty well organized site.
Now it is rudimentary at best.

People can photoshop fake iTrader screen shots. So unless you have some memory that the bloke was a stand-up guy, well then, it's just numbers on a screen.

AUTOMATIC REFRESH?

Just posted a reply to bump my FS thread. The system did not automatically refresh the page to show that my posting was successful and completed.

So I pushed the Post Reply button again and it (helpfully) told me that it was a duplicate posting. Hit F5 to refresh and then could see that the first post did indeed work.

Shouldn't the page automatically refresh when you post a new reply?

Just an FYI. Not complaining as I appreciate Calguns very much. There will of course be some growing pains because it is new.

I've gotten hundreds of emails for subscribed threads. I removed all subscriptions. I'm still getting the emails for those threads.

You can go into your user settings and uncheck all of those options:


-- Upper right hand corner is your user name with a drop down menu

-- Drop down to User Settings

-- Click on the Notifications tab

-- Uncheck options you don't want. I unchecked a bunch because I didn't want it notify me when someone quotes me, replies to me, etc.

-- Click Save Changes

Someone advised you to screenshot your iTrader and post it to the Marketplace iTrader thread and you didn't do it? I'm not understanding the issue. The forum is still there. You can't click on "New Topic" make a new thread for yourself with the screenshot of your iTrader attached? https://www.calguns.net/forum/market...views-feedback

It would be great if we could increase the default font size for post text which is not specially sized by the poster. The current size is too small for older eyes.

Looks like the migration subscribed you - that happened to me, I had a dozen threads and I never subscribe to any.

Look in 'user settings', 'subscriptions' and un-subscribe as needed.

I found the subscriptions, they are under the "Message Center" area. Top right corner, middle pull down, click "Go to Message Center".

I notice almost everyone, just to the right of their name under their avatar is a "conversation balloon". I lost mine! I've been through all the settings in the "Profile" area and do not see an option to receive or reject "private messages". There is an option to be notified by email; other than that nothing on PM's.

If anyone has a hint as to where I lost my balloon, I will appreciate it if instructed where to look.

ETA: 1 I did change the layout to vB5 earlier.
ETA: 2 Changing layout to default or other layouts made no difference in the last balloon.

I'll start with a few I've seen already.

The speed is not what I was expecting for cloud hosted, I expected better.

Signature Pics seem to be missing. (I have the file that contains the sig pics from the old server)

Search is not working (possibly the search index needs to be refreshed)

Missing some emoticons/smilies. (Again, I have that file from the old server.)

Lack of a user friendly (like on vb3) UserCP where you can easily see the most recent posts in your subscribed subforums and your subscribed threads.
The closest I found is the posts list in the message center but the subforums are combined with the individual posts which makes it a mess.
Also, any activity from subscribers shows up in the list even if that activity is outside of my subscribed threads or subforums (oddly called "channels" now).

And holy crap it's slow.

someone advised take a picture, not post it anywhere. Yeah I guess the whole thing just doesn't make any sense. If i'm going to do that then just post the picture on any add I put in the marketplace. But since you can't leave feedback period now I don't see myself using the marketplace here. Was just checking out caguns.net a little more and it's just a way better site if it can get the users up. Probably better to have a little competition.
