Look, I didn't do anything wrong. I am a paying customer of Turner's, and I didn't deserve to be treated poorly after spending money in their store.

Apparently I didn't spend *enough* money on this one particular trip to be "good enough" for them, but, I'd hardly say that that gives Turner's the right to be nasty to me.

It is a sellers market. Gun stores giving bad service is not affecting their bottom line so it is of no concern to them.

It should be. That is a moronic business ethic and awful. If you are in the retail business that is your MAIN priority. Good service.

I've only been to Turner's once, the store in Redondo. Did a PPT there. Middle of the day, busy, and they treated us very well. So well that after we did the transfer, I spent all the money I had received for the firearm sale on a new pistol, plus another $500 on ammo and assorted gear.
I believe it when I read that others have been treated poorly at Turner's, but my one and only experience there was all I could ask for.

Although my last experience at Turner's (Fountain Valley) was positive, I prefer to take my business to Fowler Gun Room for a few reasons. They usually have everything in stock (before the panic), they do a great job at educating me, and most importantly... they treat my kids with respect when they tag along with me.

I take my business to John at Fowler's in the city of Orange. I always walk away better off than when I come in.

I went there to do a PPT on time at the request of a fellow calgunner that was buying a gun from me.

The store was near empty of customers and had 6 or so employees BSing.

We were told sorry we are not doing any PPT's right now we are too busy come back anothere day.

Doing a PPT is an ACCOMODATION !!!!

did a PPT at Turners in Fountain Valley two weeks ago. I had to wait an hour and a half to get it done. I recognized that in doing the PPT for me they were NOT MAKING ANY MONEY and I was taking counter staff away from helping customers who WANTED TO BUY GUNS which is the real business Turners is in and what keeps the doors open. The staff at the FV store was very professional and fast in completing my PPT and I appreciate it.

Accommodations in any business/industry are usually made to good and profitable customers, not strangers or non customers. Giving anyone a hard time, and clearly the OP has an attitude about himself, over an accommodation transaction is in poor taste and the sign of someone who is ill bred. Judging by the OP's name, his educational background and his attitude, I think I have a good idea as to his "breeding" which makes this whole thing no surprise at all.

Every single word of what you wrote is incorrect.

1. I've purchased guns from Turner's and have helped my parents purchase a gun from Turner's.
2. I've literally done ONE PPT there (well, four of them, but all on one visit).
3. Turner's charges a $10 fee per firearm, per DOJ fee schedules.
4. I have never been confrontational or demanding while at the store. I do, however, complain and/or bring items to the attention of the appropriate person when I see things are being done incorrectly. Since I am a paying customer, I think this is reasonable.

Let me be clear. Your entire post is libelous, lies, untruths, and fictitious. I suggest you not continue down this road of libel and slander. It wouldn't be a particularly smart move on your part.
