Had a nice conversation with Rob tonight. Him, Bill, Carol & Darron from RC store, and Hector from Pasadena are good people. Think I'll keep shopping at Turners since these people obviously give a Sxxx about doing a good job.

    Thanks

We "sticky" the current special in the forum, too, so it will always be in the top 5 or 6 threads in our forum.

We do- when Arsenal has them to ship. We are out, but we have orders placed for shipments throughout the year.

Turners I'm sure you've had to address this before but can you quickly just run by me the gun lock policy for handgun PPT's?

Is it either the gun has to come with an OEM lock (with the manufactuers name on it) or we have to bring one in with a receipt showing it was purchased within 30 days?

This might sound strange but are gun locks returnable after buying them?

              Thanks

                RIA 1911 Tactical

I put a deposit on an RIA 1911 Tactical over a month ago at the Norwalk store. Any idea on when you will be getting more in?

I just looked at the Turner's Outdoorsman Ad and noticed that the G19 is on sale for $519.99 (this is a $50 price reduction). The ad refers to at "Glock 17 or 19 Fixed" at this sale price. The fixed refers obviously to the sights. Is this the normal version of the G19 and does this permit future sight upgrades to either metal or night sights? Your input will be greatly appreciated as I would like to go to the Orange store tomorrow to make the purchase.

                  Thanks,
                  Larry

Don't hold your breath I put a order in for a Glock 29SF, paid it in full, and never heard back, whenever I call to check the status they simply tell me that they'll call me. It's been over a month as well

Why are the employees at the San Marcos store borderline rude to anybody asking a question at the gun counter? They act like it's a hassle to be shown a firearm. When I asked about special ordering a rifle scope (an almost $500.00 scope w/ equally expensive scope rings) the employee had no clue if he could do it or not. I had already emailed management at Turner's corporate office, who told me "Just go into the store, no problem, they'll order it for you". As it turned out, I ended up going to a competitor in San Marcos - I had the Leupold scope and rings within the next business week. It's the same everytime I'm in there - and I've spent money in there, not JUST looking. I wonder how they treat people who are "on the fence" whether to purchase or not. Same store, I was interested in a Kimber Ultra Covert II - you had a similiar model to what I wanted, I live a couple of miles away... I instead traveled to a competitor in Oceanside and am now in DROS for the firearm. Sad.

Seems like that's the case sometimes. Others think they know everything and there 17

If the gun in the PPT is being transferred with a CA-listed OEM lock, that will work. Alternately a receipt for a lock purchased within the last 30 days will also work (remember that the lock/device has to be presented with the receipt.) Or you can purchase the lock at the store at the time of transfer.
