    Turner's in Torrance opens tomorrow!

We want to thank all of our Redondo Beach customers for being patient as our new Torrance location came together.

Finally, the wait is over- our new Torrance store will be opening tomorrow at 10:00 am!

The store is located just down the street from our old Redondo Beach store, at 18305 Hawthorne Blvd, Torrance, 90504. (Tel# 310-214-8724)

We'll post info soon about our Grand Opening Sale that will happen in July.

And as a thank you to Calguns.net members, we will pay the DROS fees on any new/used/consigned gun purchased at Torrance on Friday, Saturday or Sunday (July 1st, 2nd and 3rd)! Just tell them you saw it on Calguns!

Sounds great, especially the DROS fee.

I take it this does not apply to PPT's as I do not see it mentioned, please clarify to avoid any undue friction.

PPT's are not a part of this Torrance promotion, right now; but we will be doing some things with regards to PPT's in all stores shortly- stay tuned

I went down there earlier this afternoon. The store looked great inside.

Although the parking is really small up front so you may have to drive around to the back.

I picked up the Wasr10 thats in the weekly ad and I'll be using the money saved in DROS fees to become a contributor to CGN

As for the grand opening sale, I suggest an irresistible deal on PS90s.

Figures I'd run in to you in a Turner's thread, just like I run in to you at their stores.

I'll make one observation about the new Torrance store. My son recently turned 21 and I took him into Turner's to take the HSC test. I called ahead of time and was told it would be no problem. We get there, I pay and he takes the test. Then we're told there's only one person who can sign the HSC card and he isn't there. But he might be back in an hour. So, we stay in the area for an hour and then call the store. We're told to try back in another hour. We go home. A few days later we get ahold of the offical Proctor and my son asks him to mail the card to our home. He says nope, you have to drive back down here and pick it up. It just seemed to me there were a couple opportunities to avoid some inconvience to us, but no such luck.
If you buy anything because it has "tactical" or "operator" in the name, we probably don't run in the same circles.
