Anyone know if DD is planning a Midlength or Rifle version?

They show the Omega rail in Carbine, Midlength, and Rifle length in their catalog. AT SHOT they said they were producing Carbine first with the other lengths to come later. "Later" is a very ambiguous term in this industry

Thanks for the quick response... I did a bunch more checking - and have seen posts from DD - from about 4 weeks back saying; they couldn't say when yet... but did confirm they do plan on doing mid-length and rifle length.

Shark, since these DD Omega's are "2 piece" rails; does this mean it's possible to remove the lower portion; and mount a flare launcher? or - should I only be considering the ARMS SIR for a "2 piece - free float" w/ability on occasion for fun to remove lower rail and mount goodies?

I don't see any reason why you couldn't remove the bottom half. They tuck under the delta ring and have set screws that you tighten down to clamp them onto the barrel nut - two set screws for each half. I guess it depends on how large the flare launcher is but I can't say for sure as I have never handled one or looked at doing this.
