We need people to show if they can !!! Or call their offices and let them know you oppose any new laws that make it harder to be able to defend ourselves !

I know this is short notice, but we need people to show up.

Please take this as positive feedback because I truly mean it as such. Your agenda is yours and yours alone, so do what you feel is best to further your cause. The following is just my opinion.

I dont see all of your posts in a timely fashion, but the ones I do seem to request participation within a 24 hour window. Keep in mind that it can be challenging to shuffle ones daily priorities to accommodate events with such a short notice. Were all on the same page and I appreciate the sacrifices you and others make, but recognize increasing attendance may be realized by giving people a little bit more notice.

As a member of Gonzalez-Fletcher's district, i've contacted her through her website https://a80.asmdc.org/article/contact-lorena to oppose this legislation.

Unfortunately since i work M-F i cannot attend but thank you for the heads up.

The problem is , most of these type of political grandstanding events are kept secret from the public , until 1 or 2 days before they happen. They do this to make sure they don’t get resistance. It is another reason why they always plan them during the work week, when most of the type of people that would oppose them would be at work or school. So until we have spies entrenched in the offices of these candidates, we won’t usually find out in more than 24-48 hours.

On a side note, I have seen hundreds of gun owners over the years ditch work to go to a gun store grand opening or sale. So it’s not that unreasonable to at least ask those who can, to try and make it.
