there are tons of nice roads up there...its a mix of old and new. With lots of outdoor stuff to so. You'll love Bend.

We have been spending summers up there since 2008. Paying off the house here next month. Will then start looking seriously for a place from La Pine up to Redmond to the east, Sisters to the west. Love the John Day Fossil Beds area. Rode through there on my trip to Lewiston, Id. last year. Soon, very soon.

I have been thinking of relocating to Portland area, tired of paying $$$$$ for a little apartment and can't afford a 700k house in San Jose, I make twice as much as my friends that live in Portland and their living in great places they bought for 200-300K and I can't afford buying a crapy condo in the ghetto for 450K, and I'm not going to go in traffic 15 hours a week.
